Advanced Automotive Service Technology Toyota-Technical Education Network (T-TEN) Program / Course
T-TEN graduates usually begin their careers at a Toyota or Lexus dealership performing maintenance, safety inspections, and minor repairs.
Introduction:
T-TEN, Toyota’s Technician & Education Network, offers world-class technical training, with hands-on classroom and lab training, complemented by on-the-job experience in a Toyota or Lexus dealer service center. T-TEN’s factory-trained instructors and your dealership mentor help accelerate what you learn in class by applying it in the real world. T-TEN schools partner with local Toyota and Lexus dealers, so you not only have the real-world dealership experience and earnings while you learn, you’re job prospects are significantly improved when you graduate.
While in the T-TEN Program you’ll be required to intern at a Toyota or Lexus dealership, learning hands-on how to diagnose and repair today’s advanced vehicles. You’ll practice the skills you learn in class with a “hands-on” dealership experience. T-TEN will also provide you with the opportunity to earn Toyota Certified Technician credentials. You’ll also be required to obtain ASE certification. Toyota and the auto industry consider ASE to be the “Gold Standard” for “independent” certification of service technician’s skills and knowledge. When you become a T-TEN graduate you’ll have classroom knowledge, hands-on training, have worked in a Toyota dealership, and have earned highly respected credentials. That’s why T-TEN graduates are in such great demand.
