Adult General Education (AGE)
Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Adult General Education programs are designed to prepare individuals to acclimate into the community, enter a post-secondary education training, enhance employability skills, or prepare for entering the workforce. This program will help you to take the citizenship exam, learn English as a second language, and/or prepare you for the GED® or a High School Diploma.
Whether you decide to learn a technical skill or get a college education, our Adult Basic Education program will provide you with the foundation needed to begin your new career. These programs are specifically designed to help adults boost their levels of understanding with reading, writing, arithmetic, and the basic knowledge required to enter post-secondary education training.
The main purpose of the Adult General Education program is to help meet the needs of working adults. Courses are affordable and offer flexible scheduling at multiple locations throughout Miami-Dade County.
