The Adult Education Programs at Miami-Dade County Public Schools began in 1935. Throughout the years, we have prepared thousands of adults for entry-level positions in various industries. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of working adults, as well as help individuals acclimate into our community. Courses are offered at 21 main campuses with flexible schedules that are conveniently located throughout Miami-Dade County.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools is the third largest school district in the United States, comprised of 465 schools, 331,500 students and over 34,400 employees. Located at the southern end of the Florida Peninsula, the school district stretches over 2,000 square miles of diverse and vibrant communities ranging from rural and suburban to urban cities and municipalities.
